2023 Pinot Noir Cuvée de la Côte

The fruit was drawn from three different sites, all within 1km of each other, in the heart of the Niagara escarpment/”la Côte.” While each component tasted delicious on its own, a selection of 8 barrels was made as they were greater than the sum of their parts. Bottled after the early great wines of Burgundy where the top wine in the cellar was called “Tête de Cuvée”. Cuvée De la Côte is only be made in exceptional years.

Our favourite expression for great Pinot Noirs is that they should be like an iron fist in a velvet glove; this could not be more true than with this Cuvée De la Côte. Lovely richness, firmness and tautness that one expects from Niagara, with a lovely plush rich finish.
