2023 Gamay Foxcroft Vineyard

Gamay is a variety typically associated with Beaujolais. Juicy, elegant and full of red berries, with very fine tannins and beautiful acidity

While many producers both in Beaujolais and in the New World take their wines to bottle early, the depths of flavours we’re getting from our magnificent soils have given us the chance to treat this variety a little more seriously. We age the wine for two winters in old French oak barrels, and the result is slightly richer and smoother, but at the same time has those classic Beaujolais notes.
