2023 County Chardonnay Greer Road

100% of this fruit came from our Greer Road property, with the average age of the vines about 20+ years old. 2023 was a fairly rich vintage, however we still remained under 13% alcohol. 

These small individual batches are only made in exceptional years. While our standard County Chardonnay is a bit lighter and more elegant, this Chardonnay from Greer Road is slightly richer and more mineral driven, with more complexity overall. Aged for 18-20 months on the fine lees in 500L French oak barrels, racked to tank for an additional 4 months of aging on the lees, and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
