Pizza Oven OPEN, Single-Vineyard Releases, Priceless Auction Experience

During this unseasonably cool spring, our incredible vineyard crew from Thailand have now unburied our 80,000 vines and tied up the 300,000 canes onto the fruiting wires. A cool spring is always a plus, as we got through the frost cycle before the buds pushed. Now that the frost threat has passed, let the heat come!

Our pizza oven opened for the season at the end of April and is now firing 7 days a week. All our ingredients for our pizzas are 100% Canadian (including 00 flour for our pizza dough), with many coming from local artisanal farmers in our area. Evan, who started as a dishwasher here five years ago and worked his way up, is now leading our experienced kitchen crew. Having enjoyed our pizzas for many years, I can say that this year’s dough/pizzas are the best I’ve ever had. The pizza oven, patio and tasting bar are open daily until 6pm all season long. Our amazing young, energetic staff are looking forward to welcoming you.
I was recently in London tasting our wines with top U.K. journalists and sommeliers. They were simply blown away by the quality of the wines and our ability to get such great flavours and phenolic ripeness with such low alcohols. Our Cuvée ‘L’ Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, and County Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays were the standouts.
This week we released some small-lot, single-vineyard Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs for the first time. With these vines now 20+ years old, the concentration and depths of flavour of the wines truly reflect the vineyards they were grown in. Our first releases are our Greer Road Chardonnay and Greer Road Pinot Noir from the 2023 vintage. Order yours here for home delivery directly from our cellar to your front door across Canada, with free shipping available and mixed cases welcomed. These single vineyards will be tasted in London next year…if there are any left!

Cheers from Prince Edward County, the greatest New World wine region,

Norm

Bid on a private vineyard tour, barrel tasting and multi-course lunch cooked by Norm himself for 8 guests

Once or twice a year we offer a very special auction item (click here to bid) consisting of a private vineyard tour, barrel tasting and an epic multi-course lunch cooked by Norm for 8 people. Norm will also open up some gems from his cellar to pair. This year the charity we’ve chosen to support with this offer is Sister’s Keeper – a premier basketball and community development program supporting over 200 student-athletes from underserved communities across Ontario. They provide elite training, academic accountability, mentorship, and real scholarship opportunities to ensure they are prepared for long-term success beyond basketball. The girls learn that community is family and supporting the vulnerable and underserved is a collective effort that betters everyone.

The vineyard tour with Norm will provide a guided explanation of the County’s wine growing history and potential and will include barrel tasting in the cellars of the winery. Norm will also pair current and older vintages from his private library with each course (includes ribeye’s cooked over open flame).
