We are releasing what I feel is the most precise, elegant and balanced Cuvée L Pinot Noir I’ve ever made. 2022 was a remarkable vintage for quality, with exceptionally low yields giving us concentration of fruit we haven’t seen before. When the grapes first came in from both PEC and Niagara, I knew there was potential for something magnificent.

From a technical standpoint, 70% of the grapes came from our own vineyards in Prince Edward County and 30% from Niagara. About 15% of the fruit was whole cluster fermented. The barrel aging of this wine was longer than any Cuvée L in the past. The wine spent two winters in barrel followed by 4 months settling in tank on the fine lees. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Pure limestone-driven Pinot Noir at a natural 12.5% alcohol. Most Burgundian lovers would place this somewhere in Vosne-Romanée.

Listen to my take here.

I encourage you to take advantage of our current tax holiday – with wine currently being HST-free the price of this gem goes from $99.20 down to $87.81, and these savings will not be around forever. I truly hope you appreciate and enjoy drinking this wine as much as I did crafting it.

If you can’t make it to the County we are always delighted to ship directly from our cellar to your door across Canada. Free shipping is available for Ontario orders $200+ and orders to Quebec and the rest of Canada $400+. Mixed cases are welcome!

Cheers,

Norm
